Program to check why my pc is freezing

Is there any program/command or anything i can run to test my system for problems or like something to run in the background to tell me when an error or something happens coz my pc is freezing at random time i dont know why. Like for example im playing a game and it just freezes the frames but my mouse can move, everything isnt working whenever i try to open another tab or anything. any suggestions? I did chkdsk and i got enough ram 8gb, processor: i5 4670k or something like that

my video card is gygabite gtx 760 and my game monitor settings are on high probably

thing is it may be from skype, coz whenever i tab into skype or google chrome it lags my computer, but it may not be that. Also i lag out of game so yeah probs not the graphics card

Hello... 1080P? Download the small APP GPU-Z and start looking at your Temps/Data/etc, on your Video card for further information to help you. http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/

Go through all your "Free addon Programs" and shut off any AUTO UPDATING feature, they like to connect when your gaming late at Night, and cause ya LAG.

I dont think its the graphics card man, coz my mouse moves alright but the pc freezes and wont open anything if i click it

Hello... Go through all your "Free addon Programs" and shut off any AUTO UPDATING feature, they like to connect when your gaming late at Night, and cause ya LAG. ADOBE/Microsoft/Java/etc.
By the way... it is a Kewl program if ya wanna Custom Flash a Fan profile.

Hello... Well Can I try and "INSPIRE" you... with Looking at your Task manager for what is taking over your CPU cycles? Under your "Processes Tab" "Applications" "Performance" "Networking"?
Have you typed in MSCONFIG and looked at your BOOT section?

mate, when the problem is being caused my cpu usage is barely at 20% and yeah i did format my pc today so msconfig aint a problem coz i aint got shit on my pc
