I just purchased a new motherboard (ASUS M5A97 R2.0 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS) to go with my new CPU. The CPU works fine from what I can tell. The first mobo I ordered came DoA and I hooked up my new CPU in my old motherboard and it worked fine. Asus sent me another motherboard and it's having the same problem as last time but this time it's not smoking :/. Whenever I plug the cord into the power supply, the computer will turn on for a few seconds and then turn off. The power button on the case doesn't seem to work when I use this motherboard but it works on the old motherboard just fine. Whenever the computer turns on for the few seconds, all of the fans are spinning and everything seems to be working fine but then it shuts off. I'm considering taking it to a repair shop but I was wondering if anyone here could help me solve my problem. Thanks
