I recently replaced my 19" lcd monitor with a Samsung 22" LED monitor. However, although application windows and browser stretches to fill out the entire display in 1680x1080 resolution, my desktop wallpaper (no matter what resolution it is) only fills out 2/3 of the display. I've tried stretch, tile, center in the display settings but it's still the same. I can't get the wallpaper to fill out the entire display. It only fills the entire display when the monitor is set at 1400x900 resolution. Any advice? I'm using a Geforce 2 FX550 gpu card (I know it's obsolete!).

So you're saying you've found 1680x1080 wallpapers that still don't fill it out entirely? If so, it might be a display setting in your PC. If applications and such fill out the whole thing then it must just be a setting. Try the display control panel for backgrounds.

@apcs13 I did. I even found wallpapers that are bigger than 1680x1050 but still it won't fill out the entire display. I tried every setting I can find. And even installed Display Fusion and installed the latest drivers available. But still no luck. The wallpaper just won't fill out the entire display.
