I recently just built a new computer, and thinks have been going good so far, however my CPU temperatures are very hot. When idle, the temps are to my limited knowledge, fine, being around 30-40 C. However, when running games the CPU gets to around 85-90 C, and when I ran a Prime95 the temperature immediately shot up to 100 C. I have not overclocked, and I am not using the stock heat sink fan. I have a I7 4770k, and my heatsink fan is http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835200034 if that makes a difference. Thanks for your help.

Hello... installing a "Push Pin" heatsink takes some care and Patience... Takes some Pressure to get the Tabs fully inserted before pushing the PIN in to LOCK it... The best Mounts are the Threaded hole MB back Plate...
Take off your Back cover of your Case, To determine if you has Hole cut into your CPU Mounting plate, So you can easily install a different FAN, without removing your MB, for the FAN/MB/Threaded back plate.

So as PsyKhiqZero said, the pins are very easy to break. The fan will not remount, so im guessing that was probably the problem originally and it wasn't mounted well. The pins are messed up. With that said, any suggestions for a new CPU fan? Preferably a cheaper one that is not extremely difficult to mount, or where I wont have to remove the motherboard to mount it (but doesn't have a garbage mounting system like this one did). Thanks.
