Hello all,

I just built a PC from the ground up. I've got an MSI Z87-GD65 motherboard and an Intel i7-4770k processor. I tried to overclock the CPU today, only to find out that for some reason I can't adjust the CPU clock speed at all. The option is there, and it's not grayed out, but I can't change it. Can anyone provide some insight into this problem? I'm new to overclocking.

OC on lga1150 is done by adjusting multiplier not base clock. Base clock is pretty much locked in a sense.

That's what I was trying to adjust. I solved my issue. The BOIS required me to use the "+/-" buttons, but I had to hold down Shift to adjust it. Thank you though.
