is a aerocool 500w (80+ gold) good enough for a gainward gtx770 GS

Hi!
for a while i've been running a sapphire 6670 LP, amd a8 5600k with a sandisk extreme ssd and finally the 6670 died after i don't know how many years and 1 hour of battlefield 4 XD
i've saved up enough for a Gainward gtx770 golden sample (still in delivery) and it says recommended psu is 600w? now it will take me a while before i can get my 860w platinum psu (for maybe sli) and just wondering if the 500w will be fine and won't just die under load :/

no there arent power hunger its really the graphics the eat up so much power
but you should really be running
like 300-460 watts from the wall
but the psu can probaly handle like 600 to 700 watts since its 80 plus gold
