I used an APU in this build, is it better to use something like an intel G645, will that offer better performance for everydays activities and some light gaming?

Also I used a 2x2 gb ram as I read that the AMD APU has a dual channel controller so 2x2gb is better that 1x4gb, is this correct?

thanks for all your efforts

Something along the lines of this should destroy light gaming at ultra settings :)

Another option is for the pentium g3220, its an amazing cpu for budget (look at the reviews on newegg - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116950). Its is practically an underclocked i3.

thanks for your efforts man, I know the budget is tight but he is one of those guys that has a pentuim 4 and a 40 gb hard so there really is nothing to salvage, I need a build that includes everything in a case.

regarding the Pentuim G3220, I would love to see a build that centers on this processor, but I am worried that within this tight budget, the build may end up very short on the graphics so an APU seems to solve this proplem, I love your opinion on this,

is it better to have an intel g3220 and a integrated processor in mobo or is it better to use an APU to get the best performance in the CPU and GPU department?

What do you classify as light gaming? That is the decisive factor :)
