Okay so I have a hp computer the model is h8-1360t. I want to upgrade my graphics card which is currently a NVIDIA GeForce GT 630. I was hoping to upgrade it to a Geforce gtx 650 ti or a Radeon hd 7770 but i'm not sure if my motherboard can handle it. My motherboard is a Pegatron model 2ad5. Also I would have to change my power supply since it is only a 300w. What power supply would i need to power all of that including the new graphics card i might get.
ps: I have a i7 3770 ivy bridge.

I have a hp pc prebuild pc, just added a hd 6870
U WILL need a new psu. perferly seasonic->antec->corsair about 450-500w
The board will support it if it has a pcie slot. Just in case, download CPU-z and tell us the mobo model number.
In my case, i also had to remove the DVD drive(not that its very important nowdays...), my antec psu just wouldnt fit since better psu are slitly larger.
Also, the only thing you cant change is the hdd and the mobo.

Yes it will support it
Wiring is easy, the hard part is to make them look good in a such small case :(
remember the 4 pin for the cpu , i always forget it
The pins arent to tight usually(except the 24 pin which is a bitch). so if u are pulling/pressing too hard, you are doing something wrong.

Assuming ur case looks like this.
As u can see, the psu is top monted, right infront of the of the dvd player.
Branded atx psu are not bigger, but LONGer. Therefor, the wiring can come in conflict with the cables from the dvd player.
I had a HCG 750 which was modular and was 3cm longer than the original psu. It just wouldnt fit with the dvd player so i removed it.
However, it did fit with a antec basiq 450w which was only 2cm longer and not modular.
I suggests the Antec Basiq 450. Its small, cheap and deliver clean power and has the proper protections. Got it for 20$ on sale
if it ever doesnt fit or you have to remove the dvd player first so it can fit. follow this guide

And yeah, that i7 will run all ur games on mid-high and ivy bridge are generally cool.

Both are duo slot cares, both have the same displays and both come prom respectable brands. Any would do, go for the cheaper one.
Although, for the msi one, the power connecters are on the end instead of been on the top. So you might be able to actually close the case :D

It would fit fine. But the computer case for hp is really...really small. Its not thick enough to accommodate a full size card.
The card will fit but you might not be able to close the side panel. Most of the ppl dont care(like me) and it actually give better cooling.
On the bad side. It would look horrible and cause loads of dust
