Question or two if I can,

I recently bought a new laptop. I admit it will probably not impress most of the people on here with big names... I had a need due to dog damaging my laptop, had limited money because it was directly after Christmas, and saw a nice nice new Acer Aspire V5-552PG-X469 that met all my needs, had very nice specs and for an amazing price.

The AMD processor is what is supposed to be their new, Richland-series processor, near the top of their lineup, A10-5757M 2.5 GHz TurboCore to 3.5 GHz. I am happy and have had no problems. Although I was disappointed when I looked at the list of laptop CPUs and saw this one way, Way, WAY down the list.

Not that I am planning on this, but is this upgradeable? It is a 35W AMD Richland-series if that helps... I am not really sure. Back in 2009, I upgraded an awesome ASUS laptop I had from Intel Core2 Duo P7450 to a T9600 and I loved the increase. Is this upgradeable or is the processor the "best" I can do?

Thanks much

Yup I am very soon going to buy an SSD... Most likely a Samsung PRO 256GB but also see a good deal on a SanDisk Ultra 250g as well. Thank you much for the info, did not realize it was soldered. Well that is okay I just bought it anyway right? Ok thanks much.
