should a cabinet also support usb3.0????

Someone told me that cabinets front panel usb slot can support usb3.0 even it has usb2.0 slot with no effect in speed.I wanna know is it true.My mobo has usb2.0 but i am going to buy new one which will have usb3.0 support.My cabinet is cooler master 311 elite and in the specs of that cabinet it is shown that it will have 2×2.0 usb ports.

I have the same cabinet. The cabinet's USB is just 2.0 and wont support 3.0. However, you can use Motherboard's USB 3.0 separately from case's behind (In the input/output panel) :)
