So, I got the Carbide Air 540 by Corsair, and a Z87-PLUS motherboard by ASUS. In both manuals it says to install the nine screws to the preinstalled standoffs... but there are only six holes in the motherboard. The extra three are along the edge of the board nearest the front.
My question is: should I remove those standoffs so they aren't touching the bottom of the MB? Does it help to leave them there for structural support? I'm not sure what to do and all I have left is dropping the motherboard and installing the video card.
May be back if it doesn't turn on.
