I'm with a doubt, going to upgrade my Phenom II X4 955, I'll change everything but the ram, the HDD'S (2), and video (GTX 670). Here where I live (Costa Rica) I7 processors are cheap, the i7 4770k worth $ 250, the 4770 $ 200 $ 180 and 3770K. The case I'm going to buy is the EVGA Hadron AIR comes with a power 80 PLUS Gold 500w, the question is which processor I agree with this PSU? the 4770 uses less power but you can not OC, but spends more power 3770K and OC can do something if you can not do with that 500w PSU
Thanks for the help!

Personally, I would go with the 4770 because its the newer socket. But i'd strive to get the 4770k because of overclocking. I'd go with a different PSU from a trusted name brand like Corsair, Seasonic, or XFX. With a 500w PSU you are really limiting yourself on what you can do. Down the line, you wont be able to SLI or reach large overclocks.

I'm more worried about the 500w limiting his system more than the EVGA PSU. But yes, EVGA does make quality PSU's.
