Hey guys i recently just installed all my PC components into a new case and also just installed brand new GTX 760. As well as that i got a 1080p screen to use cus i used to use one that only went to 720p.
I plugged in my vga into the DVID adapter that came with he 760 and the screen turns on and i can use it but the whole interface has been shifted over 4cm to the right. So there is a 4cm black margin on the left and the 4cm of the right of the screen is off the screen so i cant see it.
Any one have any solutions to this?
p.s i run windows 7

One of the issues is that you are using a VGA connection (analog). You really want to use a digital interface (DVI, HDMI, or DisplayPort) to connect to your display. Yes, a digital interface will provide a superior visual experience.

no, may purchase one though to see if it does as they are really cheap anyway.
Also do you know what will provide a better picture on the screen, a dvid/vga or a hdmi cable, cus i thought hdmi but someone told me dvid cables give a clearer picture.

ok, do you know what i should get, a HDMI cable which at boths ends is HDMI and goes straight from grophics card to moniter, OR a DVI/HDMI cable which obviously i will plug the DVI cable to the graphics card and the HDMI in the moniter??
