AMI beeps and will not start up

i was using steam when suddenly my monitor shut down followed by my CPU then when i tried starting up my PC again it beeps... it is either 1short pause then 8 continuous short beeps pause for a while then 1 short beep then nothing happens afterwards or 2fast almost sounds as 1 short beep then 8 continuous short beeps pause for a while then 1 short beep then nothing happens afterwards. i tried reseating every components.i tried running my computer with memory and processor only installed but it still beeps...i do not know what else to do...i cannot find on the net what beep code is this

my computer is:
asrock 880gm-le
phenom x6 1090t
g.skill 4gb
palit gtx 650ti

i have found this post but could not try it because i am in a computer shop right now....but is there a permanent fix?

The PSU should be okay. Have you reset the BIOS during your troubleshooting?

i just removed and put the CMOS back.....how can i reset BIOS? it is not showing anything in the monitor

What do you mean you removed the CMOS? Did you actually remove the chip?

Resetting the BIOS (CMOS) is usually done by pulling the motherboard battery (coin style) or using the reset jumper (per the manual).

What did you actually do?

yes that is what i did....i mean i removed the battery and put it back

Using the integrated video adapter (remove the GTX650Ti) connected to your display, does anything show up? If so, your video card (GTX650Ti) or the PSU is the problem.

i tried doing that.it still beeps i also tried starting it up without HD,keyboard,mouse,speaker,monitor and it still beeps

I suspect your motherboard is defective. Is the motherboard still under warranty? If so, I would send back for repair/exchange.

i think it is not under warranty...is there any way to test if the motherboard is the problem?

Sure, if you have another CPU, memory, etc to swap into the system. Try stepping through this troubleshooting guide to make sure you didn't miss something along the way:

fixed my PC up!!!! the pulling of and putting back the battery seems didn't work...what i did is short the cmos then my pc started working properly
