I just updated my Bios and i cant connect to the internet! help please!

I just updated my Bios and when i reboot my computer, it fails to connect to the internet.

the device manager says that the " intel 82579V Gigabit network connection isn't installed properly, i reinstalled it for many times but its still not working! please help! :(

yes installing the old bios is the best idea. If that doesnt work try system restore. A usb or pci ethernet card should work too but it doesnt really fix the issue

What motherboard or laptop model do you have? you may wish to roll back your bios, also check this out:

The motherboard they are talking about has the same chipset you mention.

My chipset is h61 (Dh61ww) and the version that i've used to update BIOS is 0099.

What should i do?

If i buy a ethernet card is it possible that i can used Lan connection again? or will the driver of intel will conflict?
