My configuration:

Intel i7 4770 3.4 Ghz
Gigabyte H81M-S1
CM Hyper TX3 EVO
Corsair 12 GB DDR3 (1333 Mhz)
MSI NVIDIA N660-2GD5/OC
1 TB WD Blue
2 TB Seagate Green
3 TB Seagate Black HDD
Seasonic ECO 600 Watts

I don't run 3Tb at all times, rest of the configuration runs as is. My problem seems to be with the PSU. It get hot way to easily and gives a sort of hot iron kind of smell. At load my Gigabyte EasyTune utility shows +12V at 11.952V, +5V and +3.3V stays above the margin. All other time, when the system is running at 50% load or below, the value remains above +12V.

I do some heavy 3D rendering and video editing work but isn't in a room temperature of -25 Degrees, it should not be going so hot at all times. The air coming out from it is really warm. I have a APC 1100VA UPS for power supply.

Should i be worried about the PSU?

If your PSU was out of spec by 10% or more THEN you would consider replacement. There is nothing wrong with your current PSU.

11.952V is actuially pretty awesome! That is only .004% out of spec, which is stellar. Typically anything within 3% is good, 5% is acceptable, and 10% will generally work... but you may consider replacement.

This is pretty confusing. Is the heat normal, as well.
