What temperature reading is correct?

Solution
No, the diodes are reading just fine. The issue has to do with the bios/chipset sending out information that the programs don't understand correctly. If you go into Bios/Uefi then you should get accurate numbers displayed there... you just can't do that while in Windows.

Wait a few months and see if any of these programs get updated to support your motherboard. That should fix the issue.
install HWMonitor and see what that tells you. I have had a lot of good luck with that on a wide varieity of hardware.

Make sure that your computer can breathe and that you have plenty of space in front and behind it for it to take in and exhaust air. Also, check for dust.

Use newer software such as HWInfo64. It's regularly updated to add proper support for new platforms and sensors.

i did touch the heatsink today about a minute after turning it off. it only feels a little warm.......

are the diodes reading the temperatures screwed up? My CPU doesnt seem to throttle even though it even reaches 100c at times,
it even jumps 10-15 degrees in less than a second..... ex 70C-85C immediatly
