Help please, Huge frame drops playing far cry 3

Hi i'm trying to play far cry 3 on my laptop which is an Asus n550jv, it has an i7 haswel cpu and a 750m gddr3 gpu card. I'm running the game at full hd with all the settings on low, the frame rate stays is ranges from anywhere between 60 all the way down to 20. It will stay at around 30 for 5 minutes then start stuttering and drop to the 20-25 region then shoot all the way back up then back down. Does anyone have any ideas how i can fix this, no other games that i play have this much of a range with the the drop in frame rates. Thankyou

It's most likely because of heat and it's throttling back to cool down.

As HiTechObsessed indicated, this is likely a heat issue and the system is throttling back (slowing down) to protect itself. Do you know how hot the CPU and GPU are getting while gaming?
