M5A97 R2.0 UEFI BIOS not loading correctly through HDMI

So i am currently using a TV as a monitor :( and i wanted to get into the bios to enable the HPC or whatever it is called..

the problem is when i load the UEFI BIOS, it only loads the time/date and the cursor, when i move the cursor around it generates the backgrouind so to speak...

is their a way i could fix this?
Could i enable the HPC without BIOS?

also, i can only currently use a HDMI cable as my tv does not support DVI, it supports VGA but, coincidently my GPU does not.

  1. You need buy either VGA to HDMI or DVI to HDMI adapter and connect the cable from GPU to TV, otherwise your TV don't get the signal from the PC at all.

Would using a DVI to VGA Adapter also be an option?
