Hey guys just wondering if my rig is okay for bf4 I plan to upgrade the Video card and ram but I dont know if I should I upgrade my Mother board and CPU

What I have right now in terms of MB and CPU are:
GA-880GM-UD2H
Athlon II X4 635

I plan on upgrading my ram to 16GB 1600mhz from 4GB 1333mhz, and a GTX 770 4GB DDR5.

If i keep my old MB and CPU would it bottleneck my new video card?

Solution
The CPU is good enough in that it is at least a quad-core. The clock is a little on the low side(2.9GHz) but with those other components should do nice. If your CPU is the bottleneck, it won't be by much and the price to remedy that might be cost-prohibitive for the results it would yield.

When I turn my overclock off and run BF4 at the stock i7-920 frequency of 2.67GHz, my CPU usage goes from 50-65% @ 3.8GHz, to 80-90% @ 2.67GHz. This is not an apples to apples comparison but should be in the ballpark.

You CPU is fine. 16gb is a bit overkill for gaming. 8GB would be more than enough (just ensure you have a 64bit OS)

Teh GTX 770 is a monster of a card. Very Very nice, but make certain that your PSU can handle the power load. What do you currently own? and what is the Wattage?

Well your PC is able to run BF4, but it will suffer from because of the old CPU. And to answer your question, yes that old CPU will hold the 770 back quite a bit. A 770 can play BF4 on Ultra but your CPU won't.

Upgrading your memory isn't a bad idea, but 16GB is overkill. 8GB is enough for video gaming.

How much are you wanting to spend on upgrades? I think you should upgrade your CPU and motherboard.

Make sure you have a good solid power supply BEFORE using that new GTX770.....

SINGLE GPU: 650watts
DUAL GPU: 850watts

Corsair, Antec, XFX, or Seasonic (need 42Amps on a Single Rail per NVidia to run that card....)

That supply will work for you....

Its' rated 38A on each rail with a 50A current protection NVidia recommends 42A single rail.... so you'll be okay, but JUST... (these are all Peak numbers so in gaming you'll be below these almost all the time)

NOTE: You'll know your "working your supply too hard" if its fan runs at really high speed and/or it's billowing out a TON of heat of the back of the supply.
