Was just playing a game of Smite not a very well known game but none the less, I was only getting 30 fps which is very surprising because I normally sit on 60 with v-sync enabled. So I decided to unplug my second monitor and straight away my fps went back to 60. I see no reason for this to be happening, I only had my desktop on the second monitor can someone help me?

when on two displays and the second one is an extended desktop you must play on fullscreen mode. if on window mode the gpu is not focused fully on the game thats why you get a lower performance.the performance drop may vary from pc to pc and game.
