  1. specs?
  2. Yes we need full system specs please. Especially the form factor.
  3. The motherboard on the Dell 660 has a PCI-e 16x lane, which is compatible with most cards. However, the power supply on the system might be a little weak which might limit the amount of cards that are compatible with the system. What's your budget for a card?
  4. i3 3240 I think 3.4 ghz 4gb ram and 1tb hard drive. I not real smart on this stuff so sorry if I don't answer correctly
  5. budget is under $150

HD7850 GHZ OR 7870 GHZ for the price range. you may be stuck at a 7750 though with your psu.

Yes, but it still would be nice if you provided some info about the PSU. Those small TFX PSUs run from 220W to 300W. Can you look on the PSU's nameplate and read the rating of the +12V rail in amps. It may have more than one rail.
  13. sorry I cant find anything written on the tower. I really don't know what im doing. where would this imfo be located?

On the PSU (power supply) itself. On its nameplate. You'll have to open your case.
  15. I think maybe it says 18 amp. would that be right?
  16. Yeah, sounds about right, except it should have a 2nd +12V rail since that is such a low current rating. If it only has 1 x (+12V) rail rated at 18A, you better not add a discrete card, after all. Not unless you want to change the PSU to a more powerful one.
