Are these temperatures OK? Because I am having some trouble running games, especially while talking on Skype with friends. If possible could I get some suggestions on how to improve my frame rates while playing these games. The games i am having problems with include; Borderlands 2, Rust, Just Cause 2 (only have problems when on Skype.) and a few more.

Thanks.

Hi,

No thi is not ok, minimum (idle ) temperature should be around 30-35 While load max temp should be 65-70.

Check you heat sink to be sure it well fixed or you might need to reapply thermal paste

Is your pc dirty? does it have a lot of dirt and dust in around the gpu and cpu if so clean it out. Do you have enough fans the cool the system? Is the cable management ok or is there wires all over the place obstructing air flow?

So could these high temperatures explain the low frame rate i have been getting? I will have a look at my PC and clean it up to see if it helps.
