I have a Asus P8Z68-vLX motherboard, i5 2400 2nd gen sandy bridge proc, 8GB corsair ram, 600W psu system. It was built in Oct of 2011. In the last 6 months or so, my system has just suddenly power reset itself. There are no events written into the event logs prior to the power reset. I thought maybe it was a problem with my cpu cooler (corsair H60), but it is working correctly. I did remove and replace the thermal paste on my CPU. I also replaced my video card (replaced geforce 440 gtx with a geforce 760 gtx. In the last few months the problem has gotten worse and since I added the video card you can count on the shutdown occurring at least once or twice a day, usually when gaming but the system can be idle when the power reset happens. I checked all the cables for faulty or lose cabling. CPU temp staying between 80 and 100F, MB between 80 and 96F. One thing I am not sure about is the vcore voltage which bounces between .9 and 1.2V. Any ideas on what is causing this?
