I have been on the amd website and they cannot tell what os I am using, I am unable to obtain the video card driver for this operating system, I have changed from xp home to windows 8.1,l can any one help me find the right driver please.

More than likely, support for your specific graphics card has been discontinued. Looking at Windows 7 drivers, the last update was 2010 which supports the theory that the card is no longer supported.

In short, there are no AMD drivers for your graphics card in Windows 8.
