Selling r9 280x

Hi,
A month ago I bough an R9 280x for 300 dollars. Right now the price is around 430 for the gigabyte model I ordered. I was wondering how much I could get if I sold it (obviously want more than 300 dollars) and if it would the hassle to sell it and buy a 770.

You could probably get around $350 if your patient and not accepting the first offers that are less then what you paid for it. Even though it's only a month old it's still a used card and you won't be able to get new card price.

IDK there seems to be a high demand for them. Everywhere around here is sold out and they jacked the price to over 400. There's a shortage. I agree with inzone you could probably make 50 to 75 if your patient

We have the deals section here in the forum where people will try to sell parts and devices although there is not much protection other then paying with Paypal people do use that section.

Then there is Ebay where you can sell anything and there is buyer and seller protection and PayPal is the preferred form of payment. However there are the fees to deal with and you have to factor those into your selling price. Shipping costs can be done one of two ways , you can offer free shipping where you pay for it to be shipped or you can state that the buyer pays shipping.

I have sold many computer parts on Ebay (video cards , motherboards ,CPU , PSU, SSD, and water cooling parts) and depending on the part I will go with free shipping or buyer pays. The more expensive the part the more likely I will give free shipping. All the parts that I have sold are used and depending on supply and demand will determine what you get. Being patient is a must.
