I am going to build my first pc setup.

I purchased an i7 4770k with a ga-z87x-ud4h motherboard and corsair 300r case, 16gb (2x8), no GPU because i am not a gamer. I figured the GPU on the chip is fine for me.

Since i have the proper hardware to overclock, should i do it? not a crazy overclock, something like 4.2.

Will OC at 4.2 give me much better performance than not overclocking and leaving everything at default?

One more question, what fan or AIO watercooling setup would you recommended with my setup and case?

Thanks for the help.

Most likely, there is no need to overclock your computer. If you want to, for such a mild overclock(4.2 isnt much), you would be fine with a Cooler Master Hyper 212 evo. If you are interested in AIO water cooling, the corsair h series are very good, and pretty affordable.

Since you do not plan on extreme overclocking, I would recommend the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO, relatively low price and great cooling. Just make sure it will fit your case, I believe the 212 EVO is 158mm tall. Check your case guide to see what the max cooler height it will allow is.
