Hello. This is my first time posting here, I'm also not that great with computers so if I miss some important details please forgive me.
I have a AMD Raedon HD 7350 which ha 1024 MB's. Recently, I noticed I couldn't open Catalyst Control Center so I went to the AMD site to download the latest drivers and such. I downloaded the latest Catalyst Software Suite (v13.12) and when I did run it it would never actually install the CCC so I looked for guides on how to fix it. One guide said to uninstall your display drivers with Display Driver Uninstaller and use a tool to clean up after and re install the drivers to fix this issue.
So I did just that and after it uninstalled I was shocked to see my PC wasn't at 1920x1080 but instead at 1400x1050. I went into the resolution settings and tried to raise it.It said the highest was 1400x1050 and above where you select your resolution there is a display setting. The display setting was set on "Generic PhP Monitor on Standard VGA Graphics Adapter" I'm pretty sure that's not what the setting should be. But it's the only option. I looked through the Windows Device Manager and noticed my card wasn't being displayed there either. I tried to reinstall the AMD drivers again to see if that would fix it but it didn't. It only installed the Install Manager and some audio drivers. I have also tried rebooting, updating windows and using safe mode. But nothing works. So now I'm stuck in this 1400x1050 resolution with no graphics card being detected.
I know this is a long post but I hope I did a good job explaining the problem enough for the PC Genius' here to help solve this problem.Thank you. so much in advance.
