So I'm sure this question has come up a lot, but I've done hours of googling and searching and have tried all found suggestions and nothing seems to be working.
A few games are defaulting to my integrated card(Intel 4000) instead of my Nvidia card(630m). MSI shows the usage at 0% for my Nvidia card, and the frame rates are bad on graphic settings that should be fine.
Most games I could solve by simply manually adding them to the control panel, but one game in particular has been a thorn in my side which is C&C Red Alert 3 from the Ultimate Collection. I know its a relatively old game and even high settings I'm getting around 15-20 or so fps.
I've tried adding the ra3_1.12.game to the control panel, disabled V sync and AA, right clicking the shortcut and hitting "use high-performance", changed my power settings to "max performance".
I tried making a profile and adding the ra3_1.12.game to the ra3 profile using Nvidia inspector but it just says its already included.
I also disabled my integrated card, but upon doing so I just got a black screen and needed to reset my BIOS.
Am I just not doing these troubleshoots correctly, am I missing something?
