Images of errors + my system specs (http://imgur.com/a/xJfoT)

I had a Cruzer Switch (Sandisk) 8GB USB, almost full with videos and whatnot, when I decided to lend it to a friend. The friend used it normally, and it worked for him, but when I got it back and replugged it into my computer, it was completely wrecked, with the following errors:

1. The name had changed from "Billy's USB" to "Firebird6Up9"
2. The partition went from 8GB (forgot if it was FAT or NTFS) to 64MB RAW
3. I can no longer access the drive without Windows telling me to format it, however, neither Windows nor CMD with elevated privileges can format it.
4. When I do try to use it without formatting, it says the volume does not contain a recognized file system.

I have tried this on multiple PCs, none of which it works on. I have tried formatting/recovering it with Disk Management, CMD, KillDisk, and EaseUS softwares, none of which work.
I know it was stupid to lend it to a friend, but I'm going to take his word that he used it properly. Maybe he didn't eject it before unplugging it? Let's just assume he didn't put a virus on it intentionally.

Could anybody please help? (please let me know if this issue has already been posted)

Thanks, Billy

I'll try it, but I'm not really a linuxy guy. Could you give me a brief rundown on how to do it once I get the OS up and running?

1. Download the GParted ISO from the site
2. Burn it into a CD/make a bootable USB
3. Boot from the CD/USB
4. Follow on screen instructions, never alter the keyboard language (use default settings)
5. The GUI will load and you can now work on the partitions
6. After making changes to the drive/s make sure to apply changes before restarting the computer.

Hi, so I tried GParted, but not only did my usb still show up as 64MB RAW and not 8GB, it couldn't create a partition table or delete or create a new partition :/

Good news: I found the solution!
Bad news: There isn't one.

I contacted Sandisk, and they said the drive had failed, and was un-fixable. It was still under warranty so I got a new one for free. Nice little 5 year warranty feature :)
