ssd disappeared from bios

So I was using a preview version of windows 8.1 and I decided to buy the full version, after I activated it and re install the full version, my computer started to crap out on me. So I tried to restart my computer but it didn't work. I checked my bios and my ssd is not being detected but hdd is.

I tried everything switching sata cable ports etc.

Pls help and ty in advance.

does any ssd tool see the drive. like the vendor firmware update tool. will the drive be seen in another pc. ether the ssd bricked itself from bad firmware or there a power issue with your power supply and it burnt out the drive.

firmware update tool doesn't detect the drive also. If it got burnt by the power supply that would be pretty weird that it had have to happened right after installing windows 8.1. is there any way of knowing if it got burnt or not?

not without opening the drive and having a lot of bench test tools. seeing melted parts. most times drives gooing poof are bad firmware that bricks the drives. if the drive under warranty i would replace it.

im also getting a long delay before post whenever the ssd is plug in. like the black screen before the msi logo.

i dont think the drive has been fried cause it happened right after i installed windows 8.1 and after it updated.
