Gtx 760 hdmi audio out with asus p6t deluxe

Wil audio come out of my hdmi port if I put an msi gtx 760 on an asus p6t deluxe mobo?

Yes, the video card has its own sound card built in for the HDMI. So you can have the HDMI sound playing on the monitor, or TVs speaker, and the onboard sound card playing something else. To select where you want windows and games to send the sound you have to set either the HDMI or the headphones/speakers as the default sound device under sounds in the control panel.

Okay great thanks. Just to make sure though because I had found that it might have but on the nvidia website it says: Audio input for hdmi: Internal. But it doesnt mention a sound card of its own. And the own I want is the MSI twin frozr. Can you confirm this particular one has it for sure? Thanks very much. Haven't owned a desktop for a long time so just kinda getting back into it!

Yes all the gtx 500 or newer have a sound card built in to handle the audio for the HDMI and DVI
