So awhile back I post a question on how I should upgrade my computer
My Current computer specs: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=7746079&srkey=I455-G1118
Link to question from before: http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1914853/upgrade-budget-1000.html
Current Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M
Recommended upgrades: XFX Force AMD Radeon R9 280X
And
Antec NeoECO C NEO ECO 520C 520W ATX12V 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371030

And I was wondering If after I installed the power supply would I just add in the new graphics card and keep the old one in Or just take out the old one.
And If you have a better option for a graphics card or power supple upgrade please tell me.
Thanks

Solution
Install the new power supply 1st. I would recommend a slight more substantial supply thou (Antec is a good brand, but, 520watts is kinda light for a top of the line GPU...)

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139020 (Same price, good brand too, More power...)

Second, UN-install the NVidia drivers completely. (you switching cards AND moving NVidia to AMD so this is a MUST...)

Then, shut down the system and remove the GT 640M card. And, install your new GPU. Reboot, then download and install the latest video driver from AMD.com site...
