I'm building a PC that will be primarily used for gaming (as well as some light word processing and internet for school and videos and stuff.)

I need to decide between the 770 and 780, I know the 780 is better but is it worth the extra price?

I want to get the Gigabyte version of either, also if i get the 770 should i get the 2GB or 4GB variant?

Thanks!

I have gtx 780 ftw and I play my games on a single 1080P monitor. But I do also have a 2nd monitor that I use for watching things as I play games. I sometimes use more than 2GB, and highest I've used today is 2406 MB. Maybe you would want to invest on something with higher than 2GB vram.
the 780 is miles better and I'd say worth the price, there is both a huge power and a huge price gap between the 770 and the 780 and if you can afford the 780 you should definitely get it.

on the off chance you do get a 770, get the 2GB version if you're gaming on a single monitor, 4GB isn't needed at all unless you plan on double or tri monitor gaming
