Which is the best aftermarket R9-290x?

Hi Guys,

Im in the market for a new GPU.

I am a huge fan of BF4, and Star Citizen, and since they both use mantle, I will go with AMD.

My question is: Which is the best/coolest/quitest R9-290x? I have been eyeing the Sapphire Tri-X.

MSI, Gigabyte, or ASUS variants in my opinion. Obviously the ones without the reference cooler. That damn card runs hotter than hell and to see any of the benefits of overclocking you will need the beefy coolers these guys supply. Although, I must say, considering how hot the card runs reference, go with Asus.

The best cooling ones will be the one with dual fans because you could overclock with them and they will still keep cool but it depends on your air flow of you case, besides that I think the MSI Radeon R9 290X, it seems nice and has a auto boost clock for gaming which will so help you

I would recommend the Asus Direct CU II R9 290x. It is going to be one hell of a card.

Also since the cooling and noise are the most important things regarding the R9-290x. the Asus cooler is capable enough to pass both the Noise and Temps test with flying colors. Hence go for the Asus R9-290x. It would be my advice.
