Hi! My month old computer set up freezes up randomly with no error message. I read here in the forums that it might be a memory problem. I ran memtest overnight and it shutdown due to BSOD. Following some of the advice given on existing related threads, I adjusted the memory frequency from 1333 Mhz to 1600 Mhz (my ram is a Kingston KHX1600C10D3B1/8G) using the XMP profile in the BIOS. After that I ran memtest for almost 8 hours and no errors occured; however, whenever I type, my keys sometimes repeat like thissssssssssss even if I wasn't holding down on the key. I also noticed that some keys sometimes don't register when I press them. All of these typing problems happened after I used XMP. This is my first build and am a novice at this. I would really appreciate your inputs on how to solve this problem.
My build has the following specs:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4570 CPU @ 3.20GHz
ASUS H81M-A MoBo
1 x 8Gb Kingston HyperX blue (KHX1600C10D3B1/8G)
Powercolor Radeon HD 4850 1Gb DDR5
1Tb HD
Windows 7 Ultimate Ultimate 64-bit
