No Dump File After Crash?

I'm testing a new set of memory, making sure its functioning properly. I ran it through memtest, no errors (although the frequency didn't match the BIOS frequency for some reason). So here's the tricky part: after running memtest overnight, the next morning I restart the computer and walk away to go grab some breakfast. I come back about two minutes later to a Windows recovery screen, but I didn't see the actual BSOD.

So looking in my system files, I can't even find the typical Minidump folder. I do manage to find a MEMORY.dmp file, but this is for a BSOD I had about two weeks ago, and already solved for. Any thoughts? Is this even a BSOD, or can Windows enter recovery mode for other reasons?
