no display when bootup

More details required, Mobo , OS, whether you plugged in the power for the GPU if required or not.... etc etc plus what cheapo gpu did you use before this card and whether you checked if any wires were dislodged when you plugged it all back up?
Thank you for the quickresponce. Let me go back alittle. A while back I had a GeForce 250 worked fine and finaaly after 3 years it died( or maybe not) but anyway I had this same thing happen to me. I went to turn on pc and got no bootup. I thought it was the video card so I borrowed one from my job. A cheep ohh one and the pc worked. So I decided to get a new card. GTX 560 but same problem no bootup. The fan on card is running but no video. I borrow my fiends gts 250 and still no bootup.Is it possible the power supply is bad or motherboard?
