XFX 7770 logon then black screen

Please help, my 7770 has been working fine for the past couple of months and now when I turn on my PC i login then it shows the desktop for about a second then goes off, the computer remains on and all the fans running but i don't get to see anything, I have ruled it down to a problem with the drivers or the graphics card itself. I have tried reinstalling the drivers and updating them numerous times but it still does it! I have no idea why its happening!
