Hello , This is my first time posting here and was not sure where to ask , hope this is the right spot!
I am looking to build a PC for me and my family to use as a sort of "entertainment HUB" in our living room. I would describe myself as hardware enthusiast and have researched the current top tier GPUs , CPUs and motherboards.

With that being said I've come here to the forums to ask the advice of knowledgeable people and to receive some insight into what I can and want to do. Let's get at it then. I will list the 5 things I'm looking for and hopefully you guys can help.

1. I want to play video games on high/ultra settings. (I play everything from WoW to NBA 2k to Fps)
2. I want to surf the web using multiple pages running. (twitch , Netflix , youtube , Hulu)
3. I want to be able to watch bluray movies on a 1080p , 60mhz LCD t.v. ( maybe 4k in future)
4. I want to be able to use Microsoft xbox style controllers for some games. (2k , madden, CoD)
5. I want to be able to use Fraps or other capture software for recording gameplay. (WoW , BF4)

It's pretty basic stuff and I guess you could say I'm just trying to build a gaming rig with full computer functionality as well. I would love any and all help regarding this and don't really want to hear fanboy remarks about intel vs AMD or AMD vs Nvidia. Budget is 1200-1500 u.s. dollars.

this build future proof for games because mobo has 3 pci express 3.0 x16 means upgrade 2 gpus later in crossfire.
4 hdds because install os in raid mode to get speed. no need to upgrade ram. change cabinet u like .upgrade to water cooler later to oc max while crossfire.

@screwysqrl , thanks so much for your input , If I were going to "splurge" a little and push that more towards 1500 , where would you recommend I allocate the extra financing? A larger SSD , GPU , Mobo? I have a laptop I am going to sell for a couple hundred dollars , so that covers OS and i'm going to go directly to my television as far as monitor. I have keyboard/mouse etc , so I can possibly spend a little more on hardware and go more modern.

@hytecgowthaman, why the FX6300? are you suggesting 16gb of ram and 13 TB of storage? I do like your video card choice :)

Are both recommended video cards able to handle a 4k television upgrade? or is that only capapble through SLI?

fx 6300 this is 95w 6 core processor ( 6 cores enough for all games ) (other models are require more w so u spend more on psu while gpu upgrade), 6300 is easily oc able, future water cool give more oc . 16 gb ram no need to future upgrade and 6 core processor utilize 4x rams ( try using only 1 ram and 2 in second time more speed in 2 rams) buy 2 (future buy extra 2 ) ram cost lower now for u. the mobo is support 3x crossfire ( it has 3 x pci express 3.0 x16 slots )so future upgrade 2xgpu so support not only 4k. hdd why recommend 4x 3tb cost u 400$ why u buy 256gb x2 for 500$ and get 512gb (low cost but u get 12tb slightly slower speed in raid compare to raid in 2xssd) etc....more then 1500$ upgradeable system (future upgrades are (x2 gpu 1200$ ,psu 250$ water cooler 100$ (x2 ram if u buy x2 now) etc ... wireless keyboard ,mouse , joystick ,etc...)so its the future proof system in my mind.

http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z87%20Extreme3/?cat=Specifications ( it has only 2 pci express 3.0 x16) not 3.
http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/Fatal1ty%20990FX%20Killer/index.us.asp?cat=Specifications (it support 3gpus).
study full spec in both links will help u to choose best.
