Gaming build on a budget and a couple questions (I will order parts on Monday!)

I am planning to build my first gaming PC.

The two games I expect to play most are Battlefield 4 and SWTOR. I am not too worried about the performance needed for SWTOR and - taking into account that mantle is about to arrive - I thought that an AMD build would be best for BF4.

I have read a lot about building your own system, but I do not have any actual experience and there are a couple things that I can't quite figure out.
I am not going to include an optical drive, how will I be able to install the OS?
Will the mainboard be sufficient for the CPU? (If not, is there any way I could run it on another mATX board?)
Are there any oversights in the parts I chose or do you see any other problems arising?

The parts:

CPU heatsink: http://www.alternate.de/Scythe/Katana_4,_CPU-Kuehler/html/product/986829/?
(should work clearance-wise)

I will be using one 8GB 1600mhz module from my main rig for Ram.

PS: I would like to stay under 500 GBP (if the SSD makes it go slightly over that's alright). I would also like to experiment with overclocking etc. (Essentially this system is somewhat of a trial run for a system with several times this budget that I will be building in about a years time and I would rather make mistakes now than then.)

An OS can be installed via USB or even over a network.

Are you interested in SLI or CF?

Also what's your resolution?

I took out the SSD, as it doesn't belong in a budget build. Especially not if you don't have an HDD.

Your OS will take like 20GB of the SSD and to install games ... Well you wouldn't have much left. Plus you have to

keep 20% of the SSD free, so that it keeps working optimally. You could chose to invest in a more expensive PSU.

A different one I had put in, got the price up to 572£ or so. It's 750W. The purpose would be to ensure you can re-use

the PSU in you later build and with a gold rating it'll save you some money in the long run, if your power bill is expensive.

It'll also allow you to add another GPU - SLI or CF in other words. Do tell if you know you're not into this. I also added a cooler

and such things. It can all be done cheaper, yes. The case was changed because this case is more sexy and has USB 3.0 front facing.

because of the budget i took another ssd,but i don't think that you'll will notice any differences in speed during normal useage.

i assume you've got a spare hd around,if not a hd might be a better choice like the next,
http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/seagate-internal-hard-drive-st1000dm003

I chose a different motherboard which i think wil be better for some overclocking.

Another cpu too since you're going to give overclocking a try anyway.

I added a cooler too.You could try the next, but it's 2mm higher than what the fractal case can have so it might be close.,
http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/thermalright-cpu-cooler-macho120
this one is 150mm high and fractal gives a max hight of 148mm for cpu coolers.

Another 270X too because of the price and it's shorter which might be good inside such a small case. You could go for the next if you lioke to see how far overclocking will get you,
http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-video-card-gvr927oc2gd
this one is physically a 270X looking at the fact that it needs two pcie power connectors to run,it's just underclocked, but that's my opinion.

I will be playing at 1080p on a 60hz IPS-Monitor.

(So far I have followed your recommendations in regards to the CPU and changed it for a 6300. I'm still doing research on the rest.)
