Hi there!

I have Intel Core 2 Duo E4300@1.8GHz, GMA950, 2GB RAM, 1TB HDD.

Since my graphics card has become too old to play games, I tried to do a software rendering. But the gameplay was really a hell giving 0-3fps. I am new in software rendering so thought to try different settings. Even at the lowest it was giving 3FPS like hell.

I can't afford a new hardware now thus I want to use old anyhow. Please can anyone suggest me why is it so or what I should do.

Thanks!

Those parts aren't the best, a cheap GPU upgrade would probably increase performance in those types of apps.

What graphics card did you have in that Pc?

software rendering means all the work is done by the cpu only.!its high time you upgraded your pc. a gpu upgrade will be a waste of money. you can become a retro gamer though....till the next upgrade!:)
