i bought new graphic card but after start screen stay black

whole pc boots in to windows i can hear skype starting etc,
but display stay inactive

specs:
GRAPHIC CARD: Sapphire PCI Express R9 270 2GB Boost Graphics Card (OC GDDR5, HDMI, 2xDVI, DP-Dual X, 2S)
Old graphic card: geforce 9600GT
CPU: Q8300 @ 2500Ghz
MB: GigaByte GA-73PVM-s2H
SSD: Kingston 120GB
HDD: Segate 1TB 5900RPM
PSU: ALPHA ATX 500L

i am asking if problem is in PSU (500W 12A and 15A) since minimal PSU for this card is 500W
i had to use molex to 6pin adapter

try to check the power consumption for all of your build especially the GPU.....

CASE1 :
If the power consumption is higher than 500w then you need to change your PSU to 600w, 700w or maybe 800w depends on your system build.....

CASE 2 :
if the overall power consumption is within the range of 500w then you should change your cable.

I can't tell whether which is your problem but I do believe that you can overcome it if you do a proper checking of your system....

Sorry bud but your power supply is very crappy, it's 12v rails can only deliver maximum 324watts of power which is definitely not enough for your rig considering your old power hungry q8300 and the now r9 270

thx for assistance i was already considering new PSU now i have to pick something that leave room for some upgrades but wont increase price of this fairly cheap PC too much
