Hi there community!

Just wondering if and i7 3770k 4.2Ghz @1.24 vcore, at 85 ish degrees on a Corsair H60i (nocuta thermal paste) is normal?

Thanks in advance :)

Solution
could be. although having removed it you should really clean and re-apply as now there will be air bubbles, that might drop idle by a good bit. Ideally at idle you should be at perhaps 5C above ambient, the better the cooling the closer to ambient.

Thanks for the quick response!
I just upped the clocks to 4.5Ghz @ 1.24Vcore, running Prime95 as I speak. Idle temps are around 45 degrees Celsius.
Thanks :)

Hi there,
The clamping pressure is quite high, I'm pretty strong and I used a ratchet screw driver. I used about a pea sized amount in the centre of the CPU. I took off the cooler to make sure most of the CPU was covered in paste, which it was.. By the way, I installed the CPU today, so is there a chance that the paste hasn't settled already?
Thanks! :)

Hi there!
In games the CPU maxes out at around 70 dregrees (4.6Ghz 1.24Vcore), which im happy-ish with! Is it bad for the CPU to be that hot for a long time during games (1-2 hours at a time)?
Thanks
