ATX Computer keeps freezing!

I have a an ATX Computer that I built and it freezes when I play games such as Mass Effect, Sims 3, and Arma 2. I don't know why these would cause it to freeze because they don't have high graphics. Now when the games freeze I hear a constant loud tone and not an audio loop of the same sentence being repeated.

My Computer:
Asus Maximus VI Hero
Intel Core i7-4770 Haswell 3.4GHz LGA 1150 84W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
ASUS DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS Black SATA 24X DVD Burner
Western Digital WD Black WD1002FAEX 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin
CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W ATX12V 2.3

Please Help!

if you are using core i7 hd for gpu thats not enough for such games. you need a capable standalone gpu. try lower the graphicoptions, resolution and make sure you have the latest drivers

Well I don't have them on their highest settings. I am getting a graphics card soon. Will that solve the problem?

maybe yes maybe not .try and see for yourself i realy dont know. what budget to you have for a gpu so i can help. your pc and psu is great can accomodate the best gpu!

I'm thinking around $500 for a graphics card.

on par performance and both the latest generation. do some reserch and take the cheapest you can find also i would invest some money for an ssd
also r9 280x and nvidia gtx 770 are still good options if you are playing on 1080p and thinking of fitting an ssd on that budget!
