Hello, I am unable to talk to my girlfriend now because skype makes my computer more stubborn as a mule.

In our terms, pretty much my pc startup has been taking a bit, I tried startup repair, and I tried my repair disc, and to my predictions it didn't work. I also noticed the windows startup sound would play well after my computer started up. I got lucky this time and can use my web browser all right, before it froze every time I typed a letter.
I tried virus scan, and registry editor, and my computer automatically defrags the hard drive every week.
Please don't tell me to do system restore, I don't have a restore point. Also, how could I test if it's a problem with my PSU.

I hope what I am about to tell you isn't the cause of the problem, yes, very idiotic: When i turned off my computer, my mouse would still be on and I was worried it would be fried so I would wait a few seconds than turn the psu off. Could this be the cause of the problem?

Also, when I had to forcefully restart/turn off my computer when it became too slow, sometimes when I booted back up my ssd wouldn't be detected, even though I wasn't using it. Thanks. Pc Specs:
Mobo Asus M5A99X EVO R2.0
Cpu AMD FX 6350
Graphics Ati Radeon hd 7750
Ram 8gb of DDR3
Os:Windows 7 64 bit home premium

I can also run games fine, it's just skype causes some big problems. Im not 100% good with cpu,s but the cpu usage from skype would go from 3% to 10%.

Turning the psu off is a good habit and not the problem.

In a situation like this, it's best to backup in safe mode and reinstall windows. its much easier than troubleshooting from within safe mode (as normal startup constantly freezes).

But if you insist, first thing you want to do is edit the registry startup processes and get rid of everything you can except antivirus and firewall. This should get you into windows from where you need to run virus scan, malwarebytes scan, spybot scan and trojan remover scan.

Report back here with your results.
