What type of CPU should I get?

I'm building a 650$ PC, here are the parts I have currently.

Hrm, 650 is a bit low..... Id go with a AMD FX-6300 for a balanced price when adding a nice CPU cooler. Id really recommend going for a bit more money to make your rig... (850-1,000)

definitely FX 6300
i made some changes too, for your consideration
add cpu cooler 212 evo for OC
Radeon 270. more powerful and has mantle ability for upcoming games optimization
much better case and PSU, from corsair. both on sale

I'm not looking for anything hardcore, just enough to play Source games and maybe some older games, like BF3 or something.

Well, he has good edit for you.... It is under your price range and an AMD FX6300 is best for the value of all AMD CPU's.

Oh, and for the case, everything I own is blue, my mouse, chair, speakers, if you could, find a case like that but blue?

^ blue case is rare and usually ugly
most ppl will go with black case and buy blue LED case fan

stick with the case i posted above, you cant miss the sale
and buy 2x 120mm front BLUE LED fans
