Hello i am a manager of a coffee shop on the Isle of Man and im wanting to set up a free WiFi zone to our customers. We do have Wireless network at the moment for all staff to use and for the main business computer. But more and more people are asking for the password so they can access stuff on the web. So i am wanting to set up a Network Profile that would just be used for the customers of our coffee shop. It will have to be a secure network as our computer will be using it aswell. So would having a separate one for the business computer and staff work better. We are currently using the Netgear N300 ADSL Modem/Router. Any upgrades to the modem or anything to buy is not a problem open to suggestions.
Thankyou

The N300 supports setting up a secondary guest wifi, that is isolated from the your main wifi network.

Up to you if you leave it wide open or password protect it.

The router isn't classed as a business device and could easily be swamped with connections, bringing your own network to a crawl.

Also remember your responsible for all sites the guests connect to and what they download.

You should talk to a professional company that supplies network kit and get it done properly, using vlans and block lists.
