I have been thinking of building a new computer, i havent decided on the processor yet.
I will be doing a lot of gaming and streaming, also video editing. I know that the FX-8350 offers better performance in streaming due to larger number in cores, am i right? Correct me if im wrong!! But the i7(3770k or 4770k havent decided between yet) are better in gaming and video editing, but what would you suggest for gaming, editing and streaming?!?!?!

Games i will playing:
Battlefield 4
Elderscroll online
League of Legends
World of Warcraft
Destiny

I will be using mainly sony vegas for video editing and PS6 for image editing

Streaming will be done with OBS. It would be nice if i could run the stream with best options with playable fps..

I have the xtra money for i7-4770k or 3770k but if the difference isnt that much between them and FX-8350 or i5-4670k the money saved would be put to good use in other areas, then again i dont mind spending little more for the i7's.

So could you guys sum up wich processor would be the best for gaming/streaming/editing and multitasking.

And also i will be overclocking with low end air coolers(im planning to build/buy watercooling in the future when i have more money or time for the pc.)

That depends on you, friend. I personally love the FX-8350, it's good for the price. However, if you've already chosen your motherboard that's a completely different story. AMD CPUs only work with AMD mobos, and the same with Intel. Both i7 4770k and i5 4670k have LGA 1150 sockets, while the i7 3770k has an LGA 1155 and the FX-8350 has an AM3+ socket. Check the one in your mobo and see if it matches the one in the CPU you want. I would rather change my CPU to fit the mobo than change my mobo in order to fit the CPU. Why don't you say your configuration here?

Ok, I'd suggest the FX-8350, but if you can PAY more, the 4770k is also on the list. If you want just to pay for what is extremely necessary, then is FX-8350 for you, lad. Very good for a fine price (and 8 cores)

And I recommend a 990 mobo. I would say the Asus M5A99X EVO R2.0 (for the FXs). The 970s are fine (lack some features, hwvr), but some need to update the BIOS before using the CPU, and that's something only some mobos can do, and you probably don't want to.

I disagree, if he can pay more, I would advise him to get a medium-to-high-end cooler and the FX-8350 :p If I'm wrong, than at least get an i7 3770K and a cooler if possible.

I think you should definitely get a FX-8350 or FX-8320 and buy a cooler, or just buy a FX-8350 and spend the money on RAM (you said you would be editing stuff, make sure you have at least 8GB, optimal/best is 16GB (2x8GB) 1600MHz DDR3 CL 9/10), or maybe spend the it on a better GPU. I find the FX-8350/FX8320 being amazing for the price, it allows you to spend money on other things easily. Hope your build works out great ;)
One thing to notice is to check your PSU, AMD's do consume more, not that they change bills drastically trust me, but they do have a higher TDP. (I think it's a fair trade for having 8 cores imo, especially if you're going to be streaming and/or rendering)

Also, DO NOT get FX-9*** or i5/i7-4*** they consume more and the motherboards are more expensive (Intel side), they just don't seem to be a good trade off when compared to their past i5/7 3*** twins and FX-8***.

Agreed with devilgodspider above.

Another potential option, for the price of a k series i5, is a Xeon. A 1230v2 is essentially the equivalent of a stock i7 3770, but at the price of an i5. That is if budget is a concern.

The FX's are amazing CPUs for streaming or video encoding in general, they handle x264 very well.

Ok im thinking about FX-8350 or the xenon series now, what would be decent mobo for the 1230v2 and is there any slightly better version of it?

There are updated versions of it - for example the 1230v3 is the LGA 1150 (haswell) version. It's about 8-10% better.

Any mobo would do - you don't need a Z87 board for it since you won't be overclocking. Any H or B series motherboard should be fine as long as it has the features you want (i.e do you want to crossfire/sli, USB3 etc.).

For the FX my recommendation would be a GA-970A-UD3 or a GA-990XA-UD(3,5,7). Or then the M5A99X, but I'd go for the gigabyte over that since it has better phase design and therefore more stability for overclocking.

My budget comment is in regards to budget for the complete system. For the around the same amount as a GTX 650ti boost with a 4770k, you could get a GTX 770 and FX 8320. The AMD graphics cards are super inflated on the high end due to low supply thanks to bitcoin and litecoin miners.
