Hello all,

Can someone change some parts to lower the price but keep most performance?
Please list parts to downgrade on Amazon.co.uk, thanks :)

Price is 369 pounds, would like to lower about 50 pounds, thanks :)

Going from a Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition down to a Radeon HD 7750 means that you'll lose 29% of your graphics performance.

A Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition will have no problem being powered by a Corsair CX430M (SKU# 75-002016 / CP-9020058).

There is no such PSU as a Corsair CX450M.

Thats what I was thinking xD So I don't need a 500W PSU?
Is there anything else I can downgrade, xmas just passed so I want to spend as little money as possible, thanks :)

For a system using a single Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition graphics card AMD specifies a minimum of a 500 Watt or greater system power supply. The power supply should also have a maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 23 Amps or greater and have at least one 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connector.

Total Power Supply Wattage is NOT the crucial factor in power supply selection!!! Sufficient Total Combined Continuous Power/Current Available on the +12V Rail(s) is the most critical factor.

Overclocking of the CPU and/or GPU(s) may require an additional increase to the maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current ratings, recommended above, to meet the increase in power required for the overclock. The additional amount required will depend on the magnitude of the overclock being attempted.

The Corsair CX430 (SKU# 75-001666 / CP-9020046) or Corsair CX430M (SKU# 75-002016 / CP-9020058) power supply unit, with its maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 32 Amps and with one (6+2)-pin PCI Express supplementary power connector, is more than sufficient to power your system configuration with a single Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition graphics card.

Internally, both the CX430 and the CX430M use the same main circuit board. The only real difference is the hardwired output cables on the CX430 and the semi-modular output cables on the CX430M. Buy the cheaper one.

AMD's recommendation of 500W is an attempt to cover those low end PSUs that have weak +12V rail(s).

There's no need to buy any cables.

On the cheap model all of the output cables are hard wired to the PSU. What that means is that you cannot detach any unused cables from the PSU so you will need to find a place to hide the unused cables in the computer case. This can cause blockage of air flow in some cramped cases.

On the more expensive semi-modular output cable model you only connect the output cables that you need to the PSU's modular interface panel. Any of the unused cables can be stored elsewhere.

You should, ideally, get a pair of memory modules instead of a single memory module so that the motherboard can be operated in the higher performance dual-channel mode.

I'm going to add another 4gb module of ram in the future, once I get payed next month, are they all compatible?

It rounds up to 350 pounds which was my original budget :)

Preferably the memory modules should be a matched pair (i.e. both should have the same speed rating, operating voltage and memory timings).

Next month i'll get another Corsair Select 4GB,

Are they all good to go though? Can I just order them now? Sorry for all the questions, it's going to be my first build and I don't want anything to go wrong lol, thanks :)

You're good to go. I'm assuming you already have the appropriate keyboard, mouse, monitor and speakers.
